I have photographed this tree several times. It is one of those things that I take a photo of each time I go near. You know that feeling... It's like you don't quite understand the pull, yet it's there and you must explore it.
This seemingly dead tree (3 months a year) blooms each summer and reminds me that it's still thriving. I especially like this capture because of the sun hitting from the west and causing a subtle shadow. Also, behind the tree are three cows (look closely).
